Privacy Policy

1. What we don't collect
To use the review tool, you do not create an account or upload anything. We do not ask for, and do not receive:
- Your name, address, email, or phone number;
- Your Social Security number, bank, or account details;
- Copies of your Loan Estimate, Closing Disclosure, or any other document.
The numbers you type into the tool are processed on your device to produce your review. They are not transmitted to us and are not saved. When you close or reload the page, they are gone.
2. Anonymous usage analytics
To understand how the product is used and where to improve it, we record anonymous, aggregated usage events — for example, that someone clicked Start, that a review was completed, or that a particular type of finding was shown. We use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless, collects no personal data, and measures from our own domain. These events never include the numbers you entered, any financial values, or anything that identifies you, and we use no advertising or cross-site trackers.
3. Information handled by our hosting provider
Like any website, the pages are delivered by a hosting/CDN provider, which may automatically process standard technical information (such as your IP address and browser type) to deliver the site and protect it against abuse. We do not use this information to identify you, and we do not combine it with the numbers you enter.
4. Cookies
The review tool does not require cookies to function, and we do not set advertising or tracking cookies.
5. Fonts and assets
Fonts and other assets are served from our own site, not fetched from third-party services at page load — consistent with our goal that nothing leaves your device unnecessarily.
6. Children
Home Advocate is intended for adults making financial decisions and is not directed to children.
7. Your choices and rights
Because we do not hold personal information about you, there is generally nothing for us to access, correct, or delete. Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA; if you have a question or request, please contact us.
8. Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, if we add optional features that involve accounts or saved data — we will update this page and its “last updated” date, and we will describe clearly what changed and what it means for you.
